According to KEYETV.com Fire Department officials have declared last Friday’s ACL fire an accident. The fire was caused by a propane leak in the personal camper of one of the vendors.

Four employees were injured in the fire. Two of the employees had to be medivaced to Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio. No word yet on their condition.

My brother was at the AT&T stage at the time of the fire. He told me that he watched a couple of port-a-potties melt in a matter of minutes. All I can say is thank goodness no one was in them at the time. He also told me that the fire was under control very quickly thanks to the quick actions of Austin Firefighters. My brother was surprised at how well ACL attendees handled the situation with a minimum of gawking.
