Get off your Duff!
Duff Goldman, owner of Baltimore’s Charm City Cakes and star of Food Network’s Ace of Cakes, is coming to Austin! I’m a huge fan of both Charm City Cakes and Duff Goldman. One of the things I like most about them is that they’re not afraid to show their mistakes. It’s comforting to a cake decorator such as myself to know that even professionals at his level have bad cake days. On top of that, Duff has nurtured his friends into becoming a wonderfully talented team that does the seemingly impossible with cake.
Duff will be at Barton Creek Square Mall from 11:30-4:30 this Saturday, July 14th. There will be cooking demonstrations as well as a celebrity cook-off with some of Austin’s best local chefs.
Audience members will be able to meet the chefs and get autographs.
I have a baby shower to attend. I may cry like a baby if I don’t get an autograph!
